Life’s Update

Finally out of my apartment at the Ritchilieu… Never thought it would happen. My parents invited me to move in months ago, but I wasn’t really sure about it.

The move has been made. I got my own room now. Things are chill. I got a garage. It’s great. I can mix my old songs, make new beats. It’s great. I’m loving it.

Today was the first day my church, Sandals, was able to meet inside their new building. It’s incredible to see this pilgrimage process taking place. My parents were there with me today. They were inspired to say the least.

The fall is here, and God I’m loving it. The weather is outstanding, the songs that are on my playlist are superb, and I just keep on writing more music by the day. It seems like this high will never end.

The New Division may have just added a drummer. I’m not sure, but it may be promising. Yesterday we had our first rehearsal with a drummer in over 2 years. I think it’s going to make a difference in our live performance. Maybe even in the studio a bit. Who knows. I don’t plan on recording drums though. That’s almost stupid these days. Unless you have a pro studio—which I don’t.

It’s weird being in Highland. I don’t know anyone, there’s nothing to do around here. Oddly though I’m complacently content. It’s nice being away from Riverside for a bit. Just relaxed and with little worries. Laid back. That’s how it should be for a short while. Things will get crazy in due time. Might as well enjoy this while it lasts.
